Factors for not getting your material shredded range from shred truck mechanical issues, full capacity of the shred trucks, emergencies, or other factors. Valley Green Shredding and event hosts will not take responsibility for materials left behind. Absolutely no materials left for shredding without their owners present will be shredded - no exception. Most host locations will only allow participants during shred event hours and you may be asked to return at a later time. People arriving early are not necessarily going to be first in line. To allow for a safe setup of the event location, the hosts, volunteers, or Valley Green Shredding staff need unobscured access to the area. The list below may not be inclusive of all rules for any particular event, so contact the event host or our office if you have any questions. To help everyone succeed in getting their documents and hard drives securely destroyed, we have set up some basic rules for attending any of our shred events.
